Accommodation in Chirije
Romantic bamboo cabins await you for a genuine Eco-cultural experience on a secluded Ecuadorian beach amidst a pre-Inca archaeological site. 5 cozy, solar powered, comfortable and picturesque bungalows for 6 passengers each, offer spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding forests.
On the water's edge we have 3 larger cabins, for reading, briefings, hammocks and restaurant with local cuisine delights like the Biche, (which is a healthy peanut soup with seafood) or the famous Ceviche (South American citric seafood cocktail). Savor these delicious regional specialties with a provincial flair from our oceanfront restaurant.
See the Pacific Swells stroll in on this wild natural beach. On the bottom of the cliffs and on the beach alonside the Chirije Valley you can find many fossils and archaeological pieces (which we ask you to please donate them to the onsite museum which is just a 100 meters from your cabins). The only way to reach Chirije is on a short 25 minute ride by the beach, which makes it an adventure itself.
Relax, enjoy great local cuisine and explore the ancient past of Ecuador!
After the sun sets, Chirije offers you a new experience; gaze upon a starlit sky from a natural observatory, accompanied by a symphony of sounds from the ocean and the surrounding forests.
